Our Story

The inaugural release of Broadbent Port in 1994 marked the beginning of a remarkable journey. After helping revive port appreciation in the U.S. and Canada, Bartholomew Broadbent launched his own label—earning immediate acclaim. That very first vintage was named Best in Show at the prestigious Aspen Food & Wine Classic’s comprehensive vintage port tasting.

Crafted in collaboration with legendary winemaker Dirk Niepoort, Broadbent Port is made to Bartholomew’s exacting standards, ensuring each bottle reflects the highest level of quality and tradition. Experience the rich heritage and bold character of Broadbent Port—a testament to Bartholomew’s lifelong passion for exceptional wine.

White Port

Douro

The white port for all Porto Tonicos - a little lemon and basil or a little lime and mint and you have a low alcohol, refreshing cocktail. We always recommend the lime-based Swaan tonic from Badenhorst. Honey, nutty, perfectly sweet.
