Our Story

The wines of the Le Renard range embody a simple philosophy: expressing the purest taste of each grape varietal from the Burgundy region. Managed by the Devillard family, Le Renard is part of a collection of estates including Château de Chamirey, Domaine des Perdrix, Domaine de la Ferté, and Domaine de la Garenne. Amaury and Aurore Devillard, representing the fifth generation of this historic Burgundian family, trace their roots back to Mercurey in the 12th century.

Le Renard wines benefit from premier locations with optimal terroir, featuring Jurassic limestone and marl. The vineyards are sustainably farmed with green harvesting and the Guyot pruning system, planted at a density of 10,000 vines per hectare. The focus is on producing exceptional Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, showcasing the unique characteristics of each varietal.
