Bartholomew Broadbent’s love for Portuguese wines stems from their eminent drinkability, vibrant fruit flavors and balance which makes them versatile enough to pair with all kinds of everyday dining. Broadbent wines are friendly on the palate, yet with enough quality to please the discriminating connoisseur, at an affordable price.

Partnering with historic Portuguese producers, the Broadbent range of Dão White and Douro Reds offers vibrant and easy-drinking expressions of indigenous Portuguese varietals as dry table wines rather than fortified ports.

Four indigenous varieties are vinified separately and then blended for perfect balance and texture. All stainless steel. Lemon verbena, orange zest, herbal. Hailing from a region boasting high elevation vineyards and a temperate climate, the Broadbent Dao white is an easy to pair with vegetarian, poultry and seafood dishes.

Douro Red

Douro

The Broadbent Douro Red is a fresh and lighter wine, showcasing the natural flavors and deep color derived from the Douro's red varietals such as Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, and Touriga Franca. This wine is distinct for its lack of oak aging, allowing the vibrant and pure characteristics of the grapes to shine through, offering a crisp and approachable drinking experience.

Douro Reserve Red

Broadbent – Dão & Douro

|

Douro

Like the Douro Red, this wine is made for us by Wine Enthusiast Winemaker of the Year nominee Luis Sottomayor. The Reserve Red presents a more full-bodied and serious style compared to its counterpart. This wine benefits from a year of French oak aging, which enhances its structure and complexity. The oak aging imparts a fuller black fruit character, adding depth and richness to the wine, making it a more sophisticated and robust choice for those seeking a more substantial and intricate flavor profile.
