Cocconato
Our Story
The Bava family has been cultivating grape vines in Cocconato, Monferrato Astigiano, since 1600. In 1911, they built their first wine cellar, and over six generations, they've produced renowned wines, particularly Barbera. Their estate now includes fifty hectares of vineyards and twenty hectares of natural fields in Monferrato and Langa, all managed sustainably.
Bava also manages vineyards in Agliano and Castiglione Falletto, each contributing unique wines. By the 1950s, Bava wines gained acclaim, expanding distribution throughout Italy and internationally. Pioneering the use of barriques since 1975, their cellars now feature custom-built steel fermentation barrels with temperature control, dedicated to both red and aromatic wines.
The Bava family includes Piero, Roberto, Giulio, Paolo, Francesca, and Giorgio. Their 125-acre vineyards in Monferrato and Langhe prioritize environmentally friendly practices, including grass covering, non-synthetic fertilizers, and lightweight glass bottles to reduce emissions.

Rosetta Malvasia di Castelnuovo Don Bosco
Bava
Piedmont
For those who don't know her yet, Rosetta is a pleasant surprise: so sweet, low in alcohol content, delicate bubbles and a lot of perfume. Perfect on festive occasions and at the end of a meal. The label stylizes a dog rose flower which better describes its primary aroma.

Stradivario Barbera
Bava

With its great character, is only produced during the best vintages. Short but intense macerations, slow and natural decantation, aged in barriques and bottled without filtration. Demonstrated over the years that it possesses extraordinary longevity – a wine to be savored today and to be kept for years to come.
