Our Story

Bartholomew Broadbent’s passion for Portuguese wines is rooted in their drinkability, balanced alcohol levels, and versatility with everyday dining. Broadbent wines are approachable yet of high quality, pleasing both casual drinkers and connoisseurs at an affordable price.

For over 20 years, Broadbent has partnered with family-owned wineries worldwide to produce wines rich in tradition and a sense of place. First launched in 2005, Broadbent Vinho Verde quickly earned a reputation as one of the finest available. Produced at Quinta de Azevedo in the Barcelos commune, the Vinho Verde undergoes a meticulous process to achieve its characteristic spritz, using pneumatic presses and controlled fermentation with a special yeast developed in their vineyards.
